How to get rid of dingy color in quilt?

My daughter has a pink and white quilt on her bed. On one area it is dingy. I washed it twice with tide and it is still there how can I get it to look clean???? I don’t wanna have to buy a new one.
Yes, I used Shout. It didn’t work.

The fact that only one area is dingy is probably due to a spill rather then it ingesting wash water dirt and having an overall blahness.

Because it has pink on the quilt you don’t want something to bleach out the spot. Both bleach and any peroxide will cause color loss.

I suggest making a paste of baking soda and vinegar and slathering it on the spot and putting it in the sun for the day ..re-wet the spot with a spray bottle over the course of the day then wash as normal. It may not be 100% fixed but it will be better then a bleached out spot. You can always repeat the procedure next week.

Have you tried a stain pre-treatment?
