how to get a dingy vinyl floor looking like new?

I have a white vinyl flooring in my kitchen and over the years it looks very dingy. Is there any trick to get it back looking new??

There is this Vinyl floor cleaner at Home Depot that you can find in the flooring section that works wonders! I believe it is made by the Folex brand. ALso you can try to mop with some bleach and water and use a little TSP on th floor to help scrub the dirt away!

carb cleaner (for mowers).. I crap you not! It works wonders, works fast and it’s inexpensive.

    *EDIT*
Do not scrub. Spray it on.. let it sit for about a minute and mop.. repeat until desired clean.

here’s the thing — yes every one is right – clean it! i used the green scrubbing pads on my hands and knees and then – becuase i couldn’t do anymore from exhaustion – i waited until the next day and then…. and then…. i used future! i let it dry and applied another coat. it was a 2 day process but WOW – what a difference!

and mine was more white than anything too!!!
