This was the best Batman so far in my opinion, christian Bale makes for an awsome Batman!! The only downfall was Katie Holmes her performance was very poor, I look forward to the new one that they are making!
Nikki
Pro : Christian Bale was awsome
Con : Katie holmes bad!!
Christian Bale is so good as Batman, and so is the rest of the cast. They make perfect characters that this film ends up satisfying its audiences. I'm sure many of you who saw this in the big-screen leave the theater saying "Boy, is that movie great or what?"
Pro : Good script, action and stronger plot
Con : unfamiliar twists

Granted I am a big fan of Batman and have read the graphic novels, but even those who are not familar with the story of Batman will not be disappointed with this MAGNIFICIENT film. There is hardly any flaws and the script is intriguing.
Eveybody by now knows the plot. Bruce Wayne is searching for answers concerning redemption and justice and meets an army of ninjas where he recieves training. Then he returns to Gotham City and finds it more corrupt than he left it. He starts to create fear among the criminal world and show them that crime does not pay. Among the chaos, he becomes Batman and must save Gotham from a diabolical villian out to destroy Gotham City.
It is a well-told story that involves Bruce Wayne and his transformation into Batman. The film is filled with high caliber actors with Christian Bale as the best Batman ever and forever!! I have seen Christopher Nolan's Memento and loved that entire story as well. He is a superb writer and director who knows how to mess with our minds.
I cannot say enough about this film except that it deserves to be nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor (anyone of them would be worthy). This film(notice I am stating film instead of a regular movie) have been swepted at the Academy.
In addition, I am getting tired of all the negative reviews of this great film. The fact that most of the negative reviews have no supporting reasons why they hate it or they didn't even see it is no excuse to dismiss it online. If you don't like Batman, that's fine, you're entitled to your opinions. But if you don't watch it, you have no reason to hate it.
This Batman movie is the best Batman movie (ranks up there with the original Superman) in terms of better writing, actors, effects, and score.
If you hate it, give us a good reason why and we'll accept it. Just hating it because of the last two Batman is impulsive. This is not like any of the movies you have seen, so give it a shot. Thank You!!
Pro : fantastic acting, good sound, great film
Con : none
Well, I can honestly say this is one of the best action movies ever made. It gives Batman a darker side. Although, according to the original Batman movie, Bruce Waynes's parents were killed my the Joker. However, this gave us more background on the childhood and adolesence of Bruce Wayne. It gave him a lot more personality.
Pro : Amazing graphics & storyline
Con : not consistant with other Batman movies

Much like Tim Burton, Nolan finds the meeting of art and commerce with "Batman". By far the best of the caped crusader's movies, "Batman Begins" sets up a plausible hero in a realistic world through a credible back story. Now, if only Bruce Wayne had to piece together a puzzle through a series of fragmentory non-linear memories. Sigh.
Pro : Dark, Exciting, Fun
Con : Silliness spoils at times
I used to think NO one could top Michael Keaton as the original Batman!
I finally broke down and watched the new one, and I absolutely loved it.
The new look and feel for this Batman is great just what we all wanted and needed out of this movie.
If You loved Batman, You'll Love this One!
It's going back to the beginning of Bruce Wayne, how he became Batman!
If you get then chance watch it, it's worth it!
Pro : Awesome
Con : Kinda Stalls In The Beginning
Christopher Nolan has single handedly ressurected the Batman franchise with Batman Begins. there are so many positives taht there is not enough room to tell them all. After Joel Schumacker single handedly killed off Batman, Nolan has brought him back to life doing full honor to the Dark Knight. The people chosen to play the roles were perfect. The setting was perfect. The music was perfect. And the twist involving Ducard (Liam Neeson) late in the movie wil pleasantly surprise any true fan. I hope Christopher Nolan will be helming however many more of the Batman movies there are. If he does, the Dark Knight has a bright future.
Pro : Where to Begin?
Con : Very Few Extras
Overall it was a great movie, very entertaining, and for any batman fan of any kind would want to own this movie vs. renting it. It showed the why and how he became Batman.
My only complaint was they tweaked the storyline slightly and here's why (if you have not seen this movie do not read the rest, but buy it).
Henry Ducard and Ras Al Gul are two different individuals in the comics. Now this can be recaptured, but it's important to note. Also Ras Al Gul did not train batman. He did want him to lead with him against rebooting the world.
Joe Chill was confronted by Batman himself and was killed in the process, not by Batman. Bruce would have never used a Gun for that is what took his parents away from him.
In the end, the Joker calling card was weak. Batman was there when he was the red hood and fell into the vat of acid to change him into the Joker.
Aside from that, I thought they did a great job.
Pro : Got into the roots of the training
Con : Like most movies there were inconsistencies
